Kolkata: Shrayan Sen has been appointed as the editor-in-chief of coalfieldtimes.in, the news portal operated by 2M media.
Sen, 34, has worked with several prominent media outlets in Kolkata and is known for publishing notable reports on a wide range of various subjects. His experience and reputation in the field are expected to bring fresh direction to the platform.
The official appointment letter was handed over to him on Saturday by 2M media. The media group currently operates both coalfieldtimes.com, a Bengali news portal and coalfieldtimes.in, its English counterpart.
With this appointment, 2M media aims to strengthen its English-language news operations while continuing to expand its digital presence.
