Senco Gold Projects 18–20% Revenue Growth in FY26, Eyes Robust Festive and Wedding Season Sales

Jewellery major Senco Gold Ltd expects a strong surge in festive and wedding season sales during the second half of FY26, reaffirming its guidance of 18–20 per cent topline growth for the year, despite a nearly 15 per cent rise in gold prices.

The company said it has built up a healthy inventory featuring a wide range of festive and bridal collections and anticipates the third quarter (Q3) to be its best-performing period, driven by Dhanteras, Diwali, and the peak wedding season.

“Year-on-year, gold prices have risen by around 14–15 per cent. Yet, we remain optimistic about consumer sentiment in Q3 and Q4, supported by a stable economic outlook and the recent GST rate cut,” said Suvankar Sen, MD & CEO of Senco Gold Ltd, in an interview with PTI. “We are confident of sustaining 18–20 per cent topline growth in FY26.”

To address rising gold prices, Senco has launched special Dhanteras offers and introduced lightweight and low-carat gold jewellery, including 9K collections, to appeal to customers seeking affordable luxury.

The retailer expanded its footprint to 185 showrooms, adding two new outlets this week — one in Naihati (West Bengal) and another in Uttar Pradesh — and remains on track to achieve its target of 20 new stores in FY26.

Senco’s premium brand, Sennes, also grew with a new boutique in Hyderabad, taking the total to eight stores, while its Shop-in-Shop (SIS) counters have crossed the 100-mark across formats.

During the first half of FY26, Senco reported 17.8 per cent year-on-year revenue growth, driven by 16 per cent growth in retail sales and 7.5 per cent same-store sales growth (SSSG). The diamond jewellery segment performed exceptionally well, with 31 per cent growth in value and 14 per cent in volume.

Looking ahead, the company plans to sustain momentum through targeted marketing campaigns, festive promotions, and an expanded lightweight jewellery portfolio, aiming to strengthen its leadership in India’s branded jewellery market.
