A vibrant cultural evening organized by Sanchari Music Academy was held on April 3 at the esteemed Sujata Devi Smriti Sadan Auditorium, bringing together young talent, tradition, and musical excellence under one roof.
The programme commenced on a reverent note with the ceremonial garlanding of the gurus’ portraits, paying homage to the guiding forces of music and learning. This was followed by a soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge and arts, and setting a serene and devotional ambiance for the evening.
As the event unfolded, students of the academy took to the stage one by one, delivering captivating solo performances that reflected both their dedication and rigorous training. Each presentation highlighted a unique blend of classical foundation and expressive artistry, earning warm appreciation from the audience.
The cultural showcase further featured two devotional bhajans and a melodious geet presentation, marking the culmination of the students’ segment. The evening reached its graceful conclusion with a special performance by the academy’s instructor, Sanchari Chowdhury, whose rendition added a professional finesse and emotional depth to the event.

Certificates were distributed to all participating students, recognizing their efforts and encouraging their continued journey in music.
